Karen Slomba
Founder and Spay/Neuter Party Planner
Karen Slomba is the founder of Slomba Shelter Solutions and the person most likely to show up at your shelter with a clipboard and a plan to turn chaos into progress. With more than 20 years of experience in animal welfare, Karen has led four nonprofit and government-contracted shelters across New York and Florida, and was a founding member of the Animal Alliance of Western New York, helping launch the five-year, $5 million Maddie’s Pet Rescue Project of Erie County.
She currently serves on the board of Better Together Pet Resource Center in Niagara Falls and sits on the Advisory Board of the Florida Association of Animal Welfare Organizations. As a consultant for the New York State.
